Behind the Scenes in a Dinosaur Fossil Laboratory
Paleontologists may use hammers and chisels to extract dinosaur fossils from the Earth, but once the fossils arrive in the lab, scientists turn to newer technology like CT scanning to unlock their mysteries.
#dinosaurs #paleontology #fossils
In this video, paleontology curator Roger Benson and museum specialist Carl Mehling take you behind the scenes in a fossil laboratory to demonstrate how scientists use technology and preparation techniques to describe dinosaur species, as well as other fossil organisms like plants and mammals. Watch to see some of the recent discoveries from the Museum’s expeditions to the American West and the Morrison Formation.

Puppycrap. And why is that scientist wearing sunglasses inside like morphius in matrix. And btw the block chick too wats to be trinity. Ridiculous. Yes, for sure we are in a simulation, BUT not the way they think. The better way would be to say we are in an illusion. That we don't see reality as it is. a y simulation is basically a model of reality and as such a simplification of it. So yes, in this sense we are in a simulation or better say we perceived a simplified reality, or in other words we don't see the truth or real reality. If nothing else even out senses are limited so of course we cannot perceive the true reality, hence we see a simplification of reality, hence we see a simulation limited in nothing else by the limits of our senses. It would be just as same ridiculous to think we see reality as an ant or a bug thinking it sees reality or a dog who suposiblt sees only black and white. They might thing they see reality but they do not. Same with us. Yes we don't see reality so in this sense the simplification we see is a simulation.

Erm Achually ☝️🤓, The Velociraptors in Jurassic Park *are* based on Deinonychus because A: Velociraptor and Deinonychus were thought to be the same species at the time (Paul’s “Predatory Dinosaurs of the World”) and B) Utahraptor wasn’t published as a species until after Jurassic Park’s production. Though tbf, the “Deinonychus/Velociraptors” are still over real life Deinonychus size. (But still smaller than Utahraptor)

Betcha there are some humongous GLITCHES & CONTROVERSIES in the HOLY BIBLE! James Webb is pure sciencem and we Americans must LOVE SCIENCE and abide with the "goswel truth" that ancients included some DICHOTOMOUS LOGIC (or BS) for moderns to swallow! E.g., compare 1st Corinthians 15:20: "Jesus--the 'FIRST FRUIT' of the so-called "RESURRECTION" if the dead (ans please note 2nd KINGS --13:21--, which indicates some guy was unconsious ("ASLEEP" or in a coma--Mark 5:39 + John 11:11 where we find the same word "asleep" used in the MOUTH of JESUS to denote "unconscous" or merely apppearing "dead"--- get it NOW, you RED-CAPPED "Christians with Claws"? You have it "upside down"--- the ancient JUDEANS were the one who really LOVED JESUS (threw their expensive robes on the muddy cobblestones--- as Jesus rode a lttle donkey with a huge crowd of PASSOVER PILGRIMS (the ancient Jews were just like the Saudia Arabians today (gathering in MECCA to pray), Why even the Jewish PROPHET ELIJAH "orayed like MUSLIM"---note 1st KINGS --18:42--. (Or my past FIFTY YEARS studuing the HOLY SCRIOTURES . . . was that reall "ALL FOR NOTHING", DONALD (you ignoramus)? By GOD I'm "RIGHT"! (Isaiah 41:26-29) and so you see: JEWS & MUSLIMS have it correct--- "It ONLY LOOKED THAT WAY". (JUDEANS LOVED JESUS--- a potential NEW PROPHET--- and that in a rime of great TRIBULATION (just as we see today, MATHHEW 24:21*). But-- will those arrogant "Proud Boys" of TRUMP now M U R D E R some old man (a "Gold Star" family member and "Eagle" Scout--- just for citing a few interesting B I B L E V E R S E S ? There is something ominous. If humans continue to exist, then it was extremely unlikely for us to be born at the start of the population growth. But, if a few years later, we got extinct, then it's actually not surprising that we were born right now, because it was extremely likely for us to be born in the only point at which human population reached very high numbers. So this means, that the chance of us surviving, is also extremely unlikely.

Hey NEIL: Read the Bible passage, LUKE 24:39-41! These were were (suppoedly) spoken after the so-called "RESSURECTION FROM THE DEAD". But WAIT! If JESUS was the "FIRST FRUIT OF THE RESSURECTION", what about porr "LAZARUS" (Jesus's best friend from Bethany, last rorthwesr of Jerusalem :Way Station"--- a place were those sick could rest and recuperate before going on with the rest of those ancient PASSOVER PILGRIMS (and spread that illness to everyone in Jerusalem-- make sense?--- a great place for a real healer & physician like Jesus --- make sense? (Study John 11:1-4, 11* ---> Mark 5:39-40 "They ALL LAUGHED AT JESUS" (he told them Jairus' 13-year old daughter was merely "ASLEEP" (or in some kind of "COMA"--- do I make sense, Sir)? Anyway, the Bible calls JESUS the "First fuit of the resurrection" {1st CORINTHIANS 15:20) but if that's TRUE, how can we say that that vegetable-farmer from BETHANY (Lazarus) probably suffered from MALARUAL FEVERS--- and Jesus gac his the very same DRUG that knocked out JAIRUS' DAUGHTER (Mark 5:39-40). Note that here's the ONLY PLACD IN THE BIBLE where we find JESUS telling his accoppanying disciples to "SHHHH! Don't say a word about this to anyone)!. And my scientific guess is that THAT'S THE SAME STUFF THAT MADE JESUS :"Look Dead" ON THRE CROSS (those clever JEWS loved JESUS, he was one of them [ a potential new prophet ] and so some of his "SECRET DISCIPLES managed to siip him a drink ON THE CROSS that TRICKED the dumb ROMAN SOLDIERS into thinking he was dead (JOHN 19:30*). OMG--- that mens that all JEWS & MUSLIMS ARE "RIGHT"--- they never really succeeded in CRUCIFYING HIM--- it only "LOOKED THAT WAY"! OMG--- but now I ask this very POIGNANT QUESTION--- will some modern "Christian with CLAWS" murder some guy... just for qjuoting a BIBLE TRUTHS they really D I S L I K E ? ? ? ((let's find out, Neil
